The Alkemist Coffee is the result of Alice and Steve’s dedication to hospitality, built on years of hands-on industry experience and a shared belief that great food and service should never stop evolving. Relocating to the Gold Coast, they took on the challenge of transforming the well-known GG’s Eatery & Bar in Broadbeach into a venue that reflected their own standards of quality, creativity and consistency. The name The Alkemist was a natural expression of their philosophy - representing refinement, transformation and the craft behind every detail. Our Strategic Contribution: Alice and Steve arrived with a strong sense of direction for their brand, including a clear idea of how the identity should feel. Our role was to elevate that vision - refining the concept, introducing a more distinctive visual language, and shaping a brand personality that captured the café’s unique, almost mystical character while remaining commercially relevant. The logo was enhanced to feel more intentional and ownable, then extended across key touchpoints including loyalty cards, menus and signage. Every element was considered to ensure consistency, memorability and alignment with their values. The result is a brand that feels authentic to the owners, expressive of the venue’s atmosphere, and strategically positioned to stand out in a highly competitive hospitality environment.
