Easy Ride was born from a practical insight into everyday urban challenges. Based in Tweed Heads - a region known for steep terrain, traffic congestion and growing commuter demand - founder Jordan recognised a need for a more comfortable, accessible way to move through the city. The idea was further shaped by witnessing delivery riders struggle on non-motorised bikes, often under physical strain. Easy Ride was created to offer an affordable, sustainable electric bike solution for commuters, delivery riders and the wider community across the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads - making urban mobility easier, cleaner and more enjoyable. Our Strategic Contribution: From the outset, this project was driven by shared enthusiasm for the idea and its potential impact. Our brief was to create a brand that would resonate strongly with a younger, international and student-focused audience-playful, approachable and instantly recognisable. Central to the identity was the development of a symbol that could stand alone, scale into digital environments and function seamlessly as an app icon. We designed a custom bicycle mark incorporating the “e+b” reference to electric bikes, layered with an infinity motif to represent renewable energy and continuity. The brand was then extended across a comprehensive range of touchpoints including business cards, apparel, bike decals, helmets, lanyards, website and shop signage-creating a cohesive, highly visible brand ecosystem.
