Our Strategic Contribution: This project was driven by a clear opportunity to disrupt a category that had become visually uniform. While many cheese brands blended together on shelf, Mary Valley Gold needed to stand out with personality and warmth—appealing to both children and parents, particularly mums making purchasing decisions for the family. Our strategy focused on creating a brand that felt approachable, memorable and conversation-worthy without compromising quality. Giving the cows individual personalities became a central storytelling device—bringing the brand to life and reinforcing the connection between animal welfare and great produce. Clever wordplay and light-hearted puns were introduced to add charm and shelf appeal, encouraging engagement and recall. The result is a distinctive, character-led brand that cuts through visually, invites interaction, and reinforces Mary Valley Gold’s values—proving that premium quality and personality can, and should, coexist.
