Mitchell Marine was established by the Mitchell brothers after more than twelve years of hands-on experience within the marine construction industry. With deep technical knowledge across wharves, jetties and complex marine structures, they set out to build a business that reflected both their expertise and their ambition to operate at a higher level. From the outset, they were clear that their brand needed to feel modern, established and refined - capable of appealing to commercial clients while conveying trust, capability and professionalism in a highly specialised field. Our Strategic Contribution: Our approach began with research into the marine construction sector, competitor positioning and visual conventions within the industry. From this foundation, we developed a distinctive monogram that brought together the core elements of the business name and offering. A double ‘M’ was designed to reference both Mitchell and Marine, forming a strong, balanced structure that communicates stability and expertise. To further anchor the brand in its environment, we integrated a stylised anchor symbol - carefully positioned beneath the legs of the ‘M’ to represent the anchor sitting below the waterline. This subtle detail reinforces the marine context without feeling literal or overworked. The monogram was then paired with a customised wordmark, designed to echo the geometry of the icon and create a cohesive, modern logo system. The result is a confident, ownable identity that clearly reflects the business’s specialisation, supports credibility, and positions Mitchell Marine as a trusted operator within the marine construction space.
