Swan Bay Butchers is part of a remarkable Australian farming legacy. The Scarrabelotti family has been farming since arriving from Italy in 1880 as part of the Marquis de Rays expedition, building generations of knowledge, resilience and connection to the land. Today, as the largest landholders in the Northern Rivers of NSW, the family produces some of Australia’s highest-quality natural veal, yearling and young beef products. Operating under the broader Green Mountain Meats umbrella, the business is deeply established, highly respected and supported by a loyal following built on quality, consistency and trust. Our Strategic Contribution: Our role was to carefully modernise the Swan Bay Butchers and Green Mountain visual identity without losing the history, recognition and goodwill built over generations. Working across several new brand developments within the Green Mountain group, we refined the logo and supporting visual language to feel more contemporary, versatile and marketing-ready. Key heritage elements were retained to honour the brand’s past, while typography, structure and application were updated to improve clarity and usability across packaging, marketing and retail environments. The result is a refreshed brand system that respects tradition while confidently supporting future growth - allowing Swan Bay Butchers to remain proudly grounded in its history while presenting with modern strength and relevance.
